Hi David,

1) Usually you put the block for choosing grid and listen view, items per page, sorting etc. on the bottom. (http://smartaddons.s3.amazonaws.com/images/Preview/sm-zen/product_listing.jpg)
I think better is to add mentioned block also on top of items.
What do you think?

2) For a block to choose a language is better to use a name of language instead of the flags. For example a German language is using in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. So text is more universal than flag.

3) Do you plan to release some powerful layered navigation extension (filter) with multiple select, short and full form, vertical and horizontal possibilities etc.?
