Install
Delete store cache under var/cache and all cookies under var/session folder for your store domain.
OR you can perform these tasks in your Magento admin panel.
Backup Your Data
Backup your web directory for safety.
Download and Extract
Download and unzip extension files to one folder on your computer and navigate inside the extracted folder.
Upload Files
If you use a theme different from default theme - be sure to rename app/design/frontend/default/default and skin/frontend/default/default folders to your store's values. Then using your FTP client to upload content of app and skin directory to your store root folder.
Set Up
1. For showing products page as our Demo, please go to CMS > Page > Edit SM CartPro > Tab Content and add this code:

2. If you want to use this module at the top of products page, for example as our demo, please go to Tab Design and insert code into Layout Update XML as following:

- Please go to CMS > Page > Edit SM Cartpro page > Tab Design with Layout Update XML. You can change width/height follow setting thumbnail width/height in the module.
Configuration
In this layout, you can see which you can configure SM CartPro to suit your needs.
Now, Log in to Magento admin, go to System -> Configuration -> SM CartPro (in the left). Here you will choose to configure SM CartPro.
The parameters are divided into the following groups:
- General
- Confirm Box Settings
- Mini CartPro Box Selection
- Product Settings
GENERAL
- Enable CarPro Module - Allow you to enable/disable Cartpro module
- Enable Ajax Cart - Allow you to enable/disable Ajax cart
- Enable Ajax for Compare - Allow you to enable/disable Ajax for compare
- Enable Ajax for Wishlist - Allow you to enable/disable Ajax for wishlist
- Enable Ajax for Update - Allow you to enable/disable Ajax for update
CONFIRM BOX SETTINGS
- Display Confirm Box - Allow to show/hide Confirm box
- Countdown number - Allow you to set time to showoff confirm box
- Display Item in Confirm Box - Allow to show/hide item in Confirm Box
MINI CARTPRO BOX SETTINGS
- Display - Allow you to show/hide mini cartpro box
- Effect Selector - Allow you to set effect when selecting mini cartpro box
- Effect Toggle - Allow you to set effect for showing mini cartpro:
- Effect Duration - Allow to set time for showing minicartpro box
PRODUCTS SETTINGS
- Product image
- Display - Allow to show image OR not
- Linkable - Allow to link to product OR not
- Thumbnail width - Set width of product image
- Thumbnail height - Set height of product image
- Product title
- Display - Allow to show product's title OR not
- Linkable - Allow to link to product when title is clicked OR not
- Product description
- Display - Allow to show description of product OR not
- Short Description - Allow you set short description OR not
- Max Characters - Set the limited number of characters for descriptions
- Strip Html Tags - Allow you to strip HTML tags for description of products
- Product Price
- Display Price - Allow to show/hide price of product
- Product Rating Summary
- Display - Allow to show/hide rating summary of product
- Product Quantity
- Display - Allow to show/hide quantity of product
- Display Input - Allow to set show/hide input (this option allow your customer to input the quantity of product)
Uninstall
Backup your web directory for safety.
After that, you can safely remove the extension files from your Magento folder.
